Jenny Rushmore, Cashmerette via SEWN Blog

Hi Friends! It's been a while. I have a little (big) something bubbling away under the surface but wanted to take some time to share with you the latest addition to the pattern store here at SEWN, Cashmerette.

Designed by Boston based Jenny Rushmore, these patterns are chic and so wearable. Instant wardrobe staples, my favourite!

Cashmerette patterns are designed especially for sizes 12-28 and feature 3 cup size options to boot (C-H) making fitting a breeze. If you need a little extra support there is a detailed 'Sewalong' for each of the three current designs over at the Casherette Blog which provides a wealth of information on all aspects of garment sewing.

One of the things I enjoy about sourcing and stocking independent sewing patterns is the ability to put and face (and sometimes a voice) to the name of the talented human responsible for creating them, and knowing that my purchases directly benefit them. If you'd like to get to know Jenny a little better then take a listen to the very first episode of the Seamwork Radio podcast by Sarai of Colette Patterns and Seamwork Magazine, in which Jenny is interviewed regarding curvy sewing and confidence. Each and every episode is thoroughly enjoyable and highly informative so do check it out.

I've put together a 'Pattern Inspiration' board on the SEWN Pinterest profile to get the sewing juices flowing which you can see below. What do you think of the pattern range? Are you tempted? I'll be back soon with more news and another addition to the SEWN pattern store! Watch this space!

x Happy sewing friends!
